Services Provided: O.U.R. House, which stands for One Unified Response, is a nonprofit Children’s Advocacy Center and Special Investigations Unit. O.U.R House is an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance and an active member of The Vermont Children’s Alliance. O.U.R House Provides a safe setting for child victims and adult survivors of sexual abuse and assault, as well as their non-offending care-givers. O.U.R. House coordinates with trauma trained detectives and investigators from the Department for Children and Families in addition to CVMC, advocacy groups and mental health providers. In addition to hosting forensic interviews which are paramount to investigations, O.U.R. House offers referrals for therapy sessions, educational programs, and advocacy services.
