Deaf Vermonters Advocacy Services (DVAS)

Population Served: For victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse
Services Provided: Provides advocacy for deaf and hard of hearing victims of abuse, as well as information and referral for area agencies; advocates for legal, medical or whatever issues are necessary; provides trainings to Domestic Violence agencies, court personnel, EMTs and police on how to communicate with deaf people.
